We purchased What-A-View (Formerly Twin Pines) in November of 2017. We invested in some signficant improvements immediately after purchasing them and we quickly realized that this was a business that we loved.
Unfortunately in October of 2018, just 11 short months after purchasing the homes, Hurricane Michael unleased it's wrath on the entire Gulf County area. It was truly heart wrenching for us to watch the storm come ashore and to know there was nothing we could do. After the storm it took us four full days before we could even know if the houses were still standing. We finally received an updated Google Earth satellite photo that showed they wee there but pretty heavily damaged.
The next five years would be a journey like we had never even imagined. Problems with insurance companies, contractors and utility companies have been more the norm than the exception. We have poured our heart, soul and plenty of money into repairing them and building them back better than ever before.
So these are the new and improved What-A-View houses. East, West and What-A-View 2 (both houses)
